Congress Weekly: Collaboration with McGill’s Research Center, Video Games Tournament, Earth Week & Disability Week!

On February 10th, Congress discussed hosting a disability week, earth week, McGill collaboration with the research center to organize scientific activities, and a video games tournament for Marianopolis students!
Disability Week:
The Coordinator of Internal Affairs, Sunny Yang, has invited a deaf student and interpreter to be present at Marianopolis for disability week. Super initiative by Sunny for deaf awareness!
Collaboration with McGill’s Research Center:
The Coordinator of External Affairs, Cindy Li has announced that congress is in talks with McGill’s research center coordinators to host scientific activities for Marianopolis Students. This is a fantastic opportunity for avid science students!
Video Games Tournament:
The Coordinator of External Affairs has also announced that Marianopolis will participate in the Intercollegiate Valorant Charity Tournament in March! If you’re an avid Valorant player ranked at least Gold – this is your time to shine! To apply or obtain more information, don’t hesitate to send a MIO to Cindy Li.
Earth Week:
Congress has also been in talks with outside coordinators to host an Earth Week this April to support the environment and raise awareness for the environmental protection and care of our planet.
